Sender ListsLast Updated: January 29, 2020
Sender lists contain email addresses, domains or IP addresses that are to be identified as either:
- “safe” (messages will be received from them, even if the message is deemed as being spam, but not if it contains a virus)
- “blocked” (messages from them will be quarantined).
Messages may also be identified as safe or blocked based on the settings in your company’s sender lists and, if you belong to a group, the sender lists defined for that group. Your own settings take priority, however. For example, if you have firstname.lastname@example.org on your “blocked sender” list, it will always be blocked, even if your group and company do not have that address blocked. Similarly, if you have an email address on your safe list that is on your group or company’s “blocked” list, messages from that address will be delivered to you.
